Institute of Etiological Research Supports
Advancing Perinatal Medication Science at
Harvard Chan School of Public Health

June 2026

The Institute of Etiological Research is pleased to announce support of research at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health through the establishment of the Perinatal Medication Research and Training Fund.

This support reflects a shared commitment to advancing critical research on medication use during pregnancy, an area that directly informs clinical decision-making and impacts the health of both birthing individuals and infants. Through this fund, the Institute is supporting the development of a new generation of fellows and students equipped to address pressing questions around safety, effectiveness, and outcomes associated with perinatal medication use.

By investing in rigorous training and research, this effort will contribute to building a stronger evidence base, improving clinical guidance, and ultimately enhancing maternal and infant health outcomes.

The Institute of Etiological Research is proud to support Harvard Chan School in advancing science that supports healthier families and looks forward to continued engagement in areas of shared mission and impact.
